What do you make of Rev. Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping and his mission to fight the “shopocalypse” with his docu-comedy “What Would Jesus Buy?” Here is the documentary trailer and a recently televised interview. Let’s reason together about the commercialization of Christmas and excessive consumerism - a phenomenon that, in itself, may have become a religion.

I think Jesus would buy white cotton mittens from the Gap and probably Dora the Explorer backpack. I don’t see him spending too much though.
