   What to say except that so many will be deceived at the end. Any difference between these “Christians” and all those who shouted “Crucify Him”, when it comes to Word of God and advice to seek peace with all men? I do not think so. Blood thirsty mob. That one and the same as this one. Are they deceived by Satan? I would say, for sure. That is not spirit of Christ in them. Who in the right mind and the Spirit of God could cheer up for bombing of any country, be it Iraq or Iran, or any other country under the sun. No, they can not be right with God. May God be merciful to them that they may see the light before it will be too late. Joshua came in His Father’s name yet they did not receive Him. One who will come in his own name they all will receive him.

   What should good Christian pray for? Should one pray for war or for peace? Did Jahshua Messiah ever condoned war or blessed war makers? Did he ever asked us to pray for war? He did pronounce a blessing from God, His Father and our Father on peace makers. Mathew 5:9 “God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God”. NLT. We know that wars will come and troubles upon whole earth but should we pray for them? Should we act like Jonah who was upset that God spared Nineveh instead fulfilled Jonah’s prophecy and destroy the great city? If men would turn to peace rather then war, could God act again in the same manner, like in the time of Jonah? Does God desire peace or war and destruction? I think clear answer to this question is in John 3:16. Christ also said: “By their fruits you shell know them”. Mathew 7:16,17

   I’ve been interested in the material relating to militant Zionism that you’ve linked. I’ve also been quite amazed at how many in the USA have a blind spot concerning how provocative their policies and actions in other countries have really been.

   As an Adventist, I’ve been a bit disappointed that we’ve painted ourselves into such a corner when it comes to our presentations on the Antichrist, limiting it almost entirely to the papacy. Seems to me that we’d be better presenting first the characteristics of the Antichrist which I think can be summed up as the spirit that demands its own way whatever it costs anyone else. From there it’s easy to show the papacy as one historical (and prophetic) manifestation. But we could also include militant fundamentalist Islam as another manifestation. Of course we’d need to be careful not to expose our own sad episodes where we have applied the spirit of Antichrist in suppressing our own dissidents. Or maybe that’s why we choose to do things the way we do, so our attention is turned elsewhere and we can point the finger without noticing the three turned towards us.

   I must admit that I find an interpretation of Revelation as conflict between a true triune Godhead and a false oppressive trinity of dragon, beast and false prophet fairly appealing.

   I still retain my particular interest in the gospel of Jesus Christ of which we spoke and presented on air several times. I have written a fair bit on SDANet and SSNET on the gospel and on the universal benefits that derive from the substitutionary atonement of Jesus. Over against the spirit of antichrist, the spirit Of Jesus Christ can perhaps be summed up as the spirit that seeks the very best for others whatever it may cost oneself.
